:: Four Wall Wander-PhotoBXL Festival ::

Four Wall Wander is an exhibition by Liesbeth Marit and Charlotte Lybeer.

The photographers showcase work that is part of a participatory project. In this project, the artists engaged in dialogue with residents and visitors of the ‘Two beers and no puppy’ expo at De Markten (2022). Anyone identifying as a woman and residing in Brussels could sign up to have a portrait taken by one of the photographers. The selection features female characters in their own living environments.
Anchored in the borderland between reality and fiction, the images from these two artists reflect a delicate balance between the ordinary and the extraordinary. Explore not only the photography in this exhibition but also the connection between a preconceived idea and the surprising authenticity of the moment.

The exhibition is part of the 8th edition of PhotoBrussels Festival, a major annual event dedicated to contemporary photography.
